After my Z-coupler got bent, I struggled to find a cost-effective solution without having to purchase an entirely new coupler. At my location, it proved to be far too expensive, so I experimented with a few printed solutions but encountered little success. Eventually, I hit upon the idea of driving the screw via gears and restricting its movement using a standard skate bearing while securing it in place with the old coupler. The result works like a charm! Please note that you'll need to double your steps per mm and reverse the Z-axis at the firmware level. If you have any suggestions or encounter any bugs, feel free to share them and I'll do my best to address the issue. You can see the before-and-after photos by looking at the orange piece prior to the modification and the cat post-modification, as well as the blue box alongside the original orange and grey components.
