I'm excited to share with you this little fan mount that I designed specifically for my Tevo Tarantula i3 stock hot end. My goal was to create something that would be easy to print, wouldn't obstruct the build deck, and wouldn't interfere with the paper clips at the front holding the glass down. Getting the fan screws in can be a bit tricky, but it's definitely manageable. I've just released the first version of this design, and I'm aware that the holes might need some filling. Additionally, the fan mount does make a slight noise, so I plan to add air relief holes on the funnel at some point and include a level sensor holder. This design fits perfectly onto my stock dual extruder, although I haven't tried it with a single extruder yet. Since this upgrade has significantly improved my prints, I thought I'd share it with the community! Enjoy! UPDATE: I've added downward-facing vents and lower support. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Tevo Tarantula Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Layer Height Infill: I used 20% honeycomb infill. Notes: The nozzle seems to sag a bit towards the end, so I'll explore design changes to provide more support or reduce the overhang. This fan mount connects to the stock 30mm heatsink fan; however, you will need a 40mm fan for deck cooling and slightly longer screws to connect to the heatsink.
