TEVO Tarantula 3D - Z-Rod aligment tool
thingiverse
Today I get my new Z-Rod and I'm thinking about how to align it perfectly. So I made this little thing that will help me out. You need to print two of them and plug one into the top and one into the bottom of the 4020 frame so the Z-Rod is aligned perfectly to the frame. I've made long holes for screws at both the ZNut holder and Stepper Plate holder, making it easy to adjust it to the rod. If you need a special version for a specific distance, just send me a message and I'll make one for you - whether it's for other mounts or original parts. I'll print these in the next few hours and test them out myself. I reuploaded the STL file because I made a measuring mistake. I also uploaded a new version with an open hole so you don't have to insert the rod from the top or bottom. Have fun printing! If you like it, please follow me or give this a like - thanks! Bangood - 3D Printer & Supplies. I printed these using my Tarantula printer with the following settings: No rafts, no supports, and a resolution of 0.2mm. I also used an infill percentage of 15%. After printing, I used a fast print with 0.2mm layer thickness to get the best results.
