Tevo Tarantula 200x200 Bed
thingiverse
This thing was designed with Tinkercad. Edit it online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/2LDsqiIqy9A. Be warned: I disclaim all responsibility for what you're about to attempt. If you mess up your Cura settings in the process of making this change, that's on you - don't come crying to me if something becomes unusable because of it. It might be a good idea to make copies of your original meshes and definitions folders before proceeding. I took an image of the Tevo Tarantula bed, imported it into Inkscape, cleaned up the rough edges, converted the file, saved it as an SVG, and then imported it into Tinkercad. I also imported STL files that I created for the Y carriage and bed level knobs, assembled everything, and approximated the distances between the knobs, Y Carriage, and heat bed. In Cura (any version will do - but I did this in Cura 4), I saved the STL of the Tarantula Bed in C:\Program Files\Ultimaker Cura 4.0\resources\meshes. Next, I tweaked C:\Program Files\Ultimaker Cura 4.0\resources\definitions (originally authored by TheAssassin - but I changed it to my own name so I can tell which file is which - don't get me wrong, I'm not taking credit for the creation of the original json file). I modified the new Tarantula Mesh path and renamed it in the json file so that when you choose your printer, you'll know which one is which. You can rename it Tevo Tarantula #2 or something else to differentiate it from the original Tevo Tarantula Printer Mesh. Open Cura, add a printer, and select the new printer you just created.
With this file you will be able to print Tevo Tarantula 200x200 Bed with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Tevo Tarantula 200x200 Bed.
