Tevo MKS Long Mount

This is my original design for a mount for the MKS on a Tevo Tarantula. It pulls the MKS forward away from the frame and to the right so that it's out of the way of the bed. I'm using it with the stock acrylic MKS rig, but I'm sure it will work with anything that has 20mm on center holes. It is heavily inspired by darknz's MKS Offset Mount (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2076166), but technically not a copy. His requires supports to print, and I couldn't get my supports to happen, so I jumped into Fusion and attempted to make a similar part from scratch. My second attempt (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2235171) is a shorter version of this. This one put the MKS too far to the right for my tastes, so I went back into fusion and made the short one instead. I printed with .3mm layer height and 20% infill. I don't think solid infill is necessary, but that choice is yours. Print Settings Printer: Tevo Tarantula Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: .3mm Infill: 20% Notes: Season layer height and infill to taste. I just used these settings for a quick simple print. Post-Printing Tips: Attach the mounts to the acrylic first, then to the t-track with your t-nuts. The right hand t-nuts are a bit of a challenge to get to, but not too difficult. I did not use the extra acrylic strip that was originally used to pad large acrylic. If you want to use it, I suggest doing so under the mounts at the t-track and not under the acrylic of the MKS. This will give more clearance for the X stepper motor as it travels up and down. Flipping the Acrylic base 180 degrees clockwise or counterclockwise gives the ability to offset more one way or the other since the holes are drilled off center. How I Designed This Designed in Fusion 360, I added two instances of it to Slic3r and printed both at once. If you can mirror one of the mounts, then I suggest doing that.
