Tevo Michelangelo 2040 Spool Holder
thingiverse
I decided to design my own spoolholder solution since other options took a long time to print, had large support structures or were unstable on top of the z-axis. I based it on a 2040 end-cap and made it compact enough to fit on the Tevo bed. You'll need to remove the top part of your Tevo Michelangelo, which is attached to the Z-axis with two screws and holds the bearing connected to the Z-rod. It's also recommended that you remove the z-bearing from the Michelangelo since it can push the x-axis and cause layer shifts. The print took my Tevo Michelangelo 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete, using a 0.3 layer height. This spoolholder has very little clearance on the bottom to be as compact as possible. When using larger rolls, it may be difficult to print high models. The holder arm is slightly angled so that the roll won't roll off.
