TEVO Little Monster LED COB Light Mounting Bracket
thingiverse
Mounting bracket for mounting a 100mm LED COB light on car headlights. These lights were sold with a 12-24V current control so I could plug them in parallel with the extruder fan until I pass additional wiring to the extruder for separate LED control. I bought two sets, which are mirror images of each other, that's why there are two LedRing STLs. The title was "US 2X 100mm HID White 117 COB LED 12-24V Angel Eyes Halo Ring Fog Housing Lamp." It was a great deal for two and now I have an extra. The stand-offs give the ring about 20mm (3/4 in) clearance from the nozzle tip. For simple wiring, just connect them with the extruder fan. The LEDs turn on when the extruder starts warming up and turn off when it cools down. ### Revision After staring at the printer with the lights on, I decided that the ring LEDs need a lampshade. The side emission is too bright to look at for long periods of time. I added a LedRingShroud.STL for a shroud that mounts on top of the ring, held in place by posts for support arms. The loops are only 0.5 mm thick and there's extra space between the support and the ring. After attaching the ring to the support arms with screws, the shroud is firmly in place. The shroud model is 11mm high, covering the full side of the LED assembly. If you want it shorter, just stop printing at the desired height.
