This replacement spool holder is designed specifically for the Tevo Little Monster. It features 6006 sealed bearings, which can be sourced from Amazon for $11, and offers adjustable width settings to accommodate various spool sizes. The threaded rod included with the TLM is over 30mm in diameter, making it incompatible with the standard bearings. To address this issue, the replacement spool holder uses a two-piece threaded rod design with a connecting piece that joins them together. The existing 30mm nuts on the TLM's original rod can be secured onto this new rod. The bearings are positioned next to the filament spool, with their bearing covers tapered inward toward the spool. This setup significantly reduces friction on the spool, allowing for effortless filament retrieval by the flying extruder.
