A completely 3D printed belt tensioning tool for the TEVO Little Monster uses an eccentric cam to provide a smooth push action of up to 5 mm on the pulley plate, tightening the belt precisely. This tool enables you to tighten belts much tighter and more consistently than trying to do it by hand. With this device, you can achieve consistent results: * It securely holds the pulley plate in place when screws are loosened and during tensioning. * The built-in scale allows for better repeatability of the plate offset. I tightened my belts by 3 mm from rest position. However, at the maximum 5 mm setting, I find that the belts feel too tight. The plunger contacts a 10mm segment of the cam to distribute the force evenly on the plunger and the cam. As the cam rotates, it pushes against one side, causing the pulley plate to tilt slightly off-horizontal. To make turning the knob easier, you may need a wrench depending on how tight you want your belts.
