Inspired by the innovative spool holder from PhantomGT on Thingiverse, this design employs a similar mounting principle but with a crucial twist. The spool is placed in perfect alignment with the X-axis, ensuring that filament tension doesn't build up over the spool's sides when the Z-axis is elevated and the X-axis is offset from the center. This unique configuration also enables the carriage to accommodate wider spools, accommodating sizes of up to 90mm in width. The mount requires supports for its lower v-slot insert during printing. The design can be printed separately in two distinct colors - a striking red and black combination that's sure to turn heads. Please note: This design utilizes an unconventional thread type, so proceed with caution.
