Tevo Black Widow extruder spacer
thingiverse
Spacer block to move the stock extruder away from the carriage plate by 18mm, providing ample clearance for the extruder motor to pass the frame and allow full access to the printable area! To achieve this, you will need longer screws; I used 50mm ones, which were then trimmed slightly with a Dremel tool. Additionally, I relocated the extruder to its center position by drilling out the two central holes in the top half of the plate until they reached about 1/4" diameter. This allowed the screws to align perfectly with those on the extruder, offering an extra 18mm~ of printable height as a bonus benefit. Print Settings: Printer: Tevo Black Widow Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2 Infill: 100% Notes: I opted for 100% infill to ensure maximum strength, given that the print material is PLA.
