The original Black Widow control box is bulky and can be tricky to use in certain applications.\nI removed the PSU as a separate component and relocated it underneath my printer table. The MKS GEN V1.4 and the PSU are connected using 12 AWG silicone wire and XT60 connectors, making them easy to disconnect. A mounting bracket is included for secure installation.\nThe MKS GEN V1.4 mainboard features an angled USB adapter cable with the end hot glued into the control box.\nThe original 120 mm fan is reused and plays a crucial role in cooling the MKS GEN v1.4. The 24-volt fan is stepped down to 12 volts using a DC/DC converter. Cables can be secured to the box using zipties, with six bridges available for extra support.\nThe control panel is adjustable, allowing me to position it anywhere on the vertical profile as needed. SD card access remains intact.\nA holder is included for a raspberry Pi if I choose to use one. This design can be printed in my preferred filament, except for Flex/TPU.\nThe nozzle size used was 0.4 mm at a layer height of 0.2 mm, with an infill setting of 25 percent.\nThis control box took around 16 hours to print.\nRequired hardware includes:\nM4 x 10mm hex screws (8) for profile mounting\nM4 T nuts (8) for profile mounting\nM3 x 35 MM hex screws (4) for fan installation\nXT60 connector (1 pair - male/female) for the 24-volt power cable\nZipties 3 mm width (10) to manage cables\nA 1-meter length of 14 AWG silicone cable, red and black in color\nAn angled USB A/B adapter cable\nPrinter settings:\nPrinter: Tevo Black Widow\nRafts: No\nSupports: No\nResolution: 0.2 mm\nInfill: 25%\nNotes: RHS stands for right-hand side.\nThe control panel is a remix of an original design, the creator of which I am unable to find. Full credit goes to him.
