TETRIX Motor protector cap
thingiverse
This Motorizer adapter secures the cable and connector firmly onto the motor, keeping it from slipping off due to sudden jolts or bounces. It fits most motors (except for a few larger models), gripping them snugly in place. Tested on a Printrbot Simple Metal using Filamex PLA, results show no overhangs when the part is properly aligned on the bed. Instructions This adapter was created using Autodesk Inventor. Printing at 0.3 or 0.1 mm resolution in PLA seems to yield the best results; ABS was not tested due to compatibility issues. Due to an export glitch, users will need to rotate the model by 180 degrees along the X or Y axis for optimal use. Concentric and rectilinear top/bottom infills both work effectively with this adapter.
