Tetris Lens Shelf
myminifactory
I finally acquired a printer that is just the right size, thanks to Eric Lien and the talented Eustathios designers. With this new machine at my disposal, I've been able to create the shelf for my lenses that I conceptualized three years ago when I initially shared its design. I revised the original OpenScad script to produce solid blocks perfect for vase mode printing. These prints were executed as a single outline in vase mode, utilizing a 1.2mm nozzle and an extrusion width of 2.4mm. Surprisingly, I omitted bottom layers, but probably should have included a couple to enhance the shelf's rigidity. Perhaps in a few more years, I'll be able to produce a bookshelf version that meets my expectations.
