This Tetrarchs Column is constructed from igneous rocks, featuring four impressive columns. Dating back to approximately 300 AD, it has been firmly anchored into a corner of the facade of St. Mark's Basilica in Venice, Italy since the Middle Ages. The statues were likely originally situated on the porch of the Philadelphion in Constantinople. This object is part of the "Scan The World" initiative. Scan the World is a non-profit project launched by MyMiniFactory to create a comprehensive digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks and landmarks from all over the globe for public access at no cost. Scan the World is an open-source community effort. If you have interesting items nearby and would like to contribute, please email stw@myminifactory.com to learn how you can participate.
