For this model, using the sketch tool, a triangle was drawn onto the top plane. Then the drawing was made 3D using the extruded boss/base tool. Later, using the chamfer tool, the three edges in view when viewing the top plane were selected (make sure the highlighted reaches the bottom of model). This created the pyramid shape.
