Tetra-octahedral bars & nodes grid structure; chaser and ng nodes v.1
thingiverse
Print the 3D-modeled nodes and cut MDF bars using a laser cutter. Assemble an octahedron with six nodes and twelve 204mm bars. Add more nodes and bars to create tetrahedra and other shapes in various directions. A Grasshopper file allows for customization of the node dimensions. The design, inspired by workshops led by Prof. Antonio Saseta, can be printed and cut at Fab Lab Sevilla, Spain. Files provided include Rhino files for nodes, STL files for 3D printing, and a DXF file for bar cutting.
