Create a tetherball escapement with instructions based on this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PRoz4XC83yk. The materials needed are 10mm and 8mm tubes for shafts, a wooden box around 25x25x25cm, string to hang weights, quarters (pendulum weight), something heavy for the driving weight tied to the pulley, epoxy or strong glue for attaching printed parts to the shaft, and screws to attach printed parts to the box.
