Our lungs breathe in oxygen and release carbon dioxide. Our brains process thoughts and emotions at lightning-fast speeds. Our muscles work tirelessly to move our bodies, allowing us to walk, run, jump, and even perform complex tasks like writing or typing on a keyboard. And yet, despite all these amazing abilities, the human body is also incredibly fragile. One wrong move can cause serious injury, and disease can attack at any moment. Despite this fragility, humans are capable of incredible resilience. We can recover from injuries, fight off diseases, and even adapt to new situations with ease.
