Test Tube Holder for 6 Tubes
thingiverse
This simple test tube holder is an eco-friendly option that uses less plastic and prints faster! It can hold up to six tubes, each with a diameter of eighteen millimeters and a length of one hundred twenty millimeters. Both shorter and longer tubes will fit perfectly in this stand. The base is thirty millimeters wide, providing stability so it won't fall over. Additionally, the ten-millimeter thickness ensures that it's extremely difficult to break. This test tube holder is perfect for schools and teachers! When printed with PLA plastic, which is more flexible than ABS yet sturdy enough to hold five tubes while working on them, it makes a great addition to any science classroom. To start printing, download the .STL file attached below. Import it into your 3D printer software and adjust the settings as needed. You can use my recommended settings or experiment with custom ones. However, I would advise against using infill less than fifteen percent since it may not be sturdy enough. Feel free to leave any comments! I'd love to see your printed models and settings in action. Also, don't hesitate to remix the design however you like! A fun idea for remixing this design is to mirror it and create a twelve tube stand! Have fun printing and using this test tube holder!
