I've been cranking out a lot of artifacts using my trusty 3D printer lately. I've gained a ton of experience with 3D printing, and it's high time to put your machine through its paces quantitatively. Based on my research background, I came up with a basic test pattern that you can use to assess your 3D printer's performance. This pattern features three fundamental shapes: a cube, a sphere, and an equilateral triangle. By using different sizes of these patterns, you'll gain a solid understanding of your 3D printer's capabilities. The included alphabetized table will also help reveal many other key characteristics about your machine. One thing I'm still struggling with is printing text in very small sizes.
