test for 2-colour printing with 3" ender just added gcodes the gcode is used to pause the printer at the desired height and release the head, then press once to activate the preheating to change the wire and press the printer wheel to continue printing. here are the gcodes I put filament change to be put on the desired layer (line or height of the piece) explanations M83; switch to relative E values for any needed retraction G1 F300 Z3.24; mount the head from 1 to 2 above G1 F9000 X20 Y200; move the head to the desired position. G1 F300 Z50; mount the 50mm head M104 S0; stop heating extruder at 0°. M0 Click To Restart; stop and press to send the next step M109 S210; activate extruder at desired temperature (change filament) M0 Click To Restart; stop and press to continue G1 F300 Z3.24 ; Z move the head to 1mm above the workpiece.
