A photographer took 240 source images with the Ortery Photo Capture system and a 360-degree turntable in just 30 minutes. The studio was set up with three LED lights diffused to produce a warm glow of 4000 degrees Kelvin. To capture the perfect shot, four camera positions were used - two from directly behind the model and two from the side. A custom PSD masking script based on the subject helped streamline the process, requiring just 15 minutes to mask and manage the files. Using Photoscan 1.6, the photographer merged four chunks of data into a single chunk in about half an hour. The final step involved generating a sparse cloud, dense cloud, mesh, and texture from the merged chunk, which took approximately four hours on a powerful machine like a 2017 iMac with a Quad-core i7 processor, 64 GB of RAM, and an Radeon Pro 580 GPU with 8 GB of video memory.
