This experiment evaluates the hinge pin's shear strength in my Champs design 3.03, with a 7mm diameter. Images A-B illustrate the test part and cross section; C depicts the printed hinge. For lack of a tensile machine, Image D shows my improvised apparatus using a spring balance, magnet, and scale face. The test part failed at around 32kg (314N), prompting two more tests for an average result and potential outliers analysis.
