Test cube
thingiverse
This is my personal test cube that I designed in Maya. Its total uselessness makes it perfect for testing alone, though I'd love to hear if anyone finds another purpose. The cube itself has a square hole at its center; inside this hole is a pillar and a precise square corner for verifying the equality of sizes on both ends. The pillar's main function is to check for overhangs, featuring large letters facing outwards as well as small ones, while big letters are inscribed inwardly. This cube was created on a massive scale and is designed to be scaled up or down according to preference (the one you see in the picture is 0.15 the size of the original). It's also intended for testing from multiple sides of the cube; to do so, I included a small round hole on its side to evaluate circular symmetry. If no one finds this helpful, I still wanted to share my personal test cube with all of you.
