Test Cube - 2 Inch
thingiverse
A 2.00 inch (50.80mm) test cube I created to evaluate a machine's capacity to print overhangs, small features, thin walls, and part accuracy while assessing overall speed. This experiment also allowed us to test software for generating easily removable supports. One area where most machines tested encountered difficulty was the bottom of the suspended ball, which often appeared distorted. My design was sent to GCreate during their printer evaluation process, resulting in another version of my part that might be preferred: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1437289 Parts can be assembled together, creating interesting desktop artwork. **NOTE**: The image of the STL file is shown upside down. The bottom of the part features the text "BOTTOM" printed on it, indicating the intended print orientation.
