I require a case for my Raspberry Pi & Relay Board, but I need to calculate what thickness the walls should be and what size vent holes I can utilize without adding any support material. This specific box features walls in 0.5mm,1.0mm,1.5mm & 2.0mm thicknesses. It has proven to function effectively with 1mm thick walls which requires only two layers and the ideal types of vent holes are 3mm squares. So now I need to design the actual project. This situation clearly highlights the constraints that come with 3D printing - notably the RepRap's capabilities.
