They stood before me, a species so alien and yet so familiar. Their eyes held a deep sadness, a sense of loss that I couldn't quite understand. They spoke to me in a language that was both beautiful and incomprehensible, their words weaving a tapestry of emotions that I struggled to decipher. As they moved closer, I felt a shiver run down my spine. Their skin was a deep brown, almost black, and seemed to absorb the light around them. It was as if they were a void, a darkness that drew everything towards them. They reached out a hand, their fingers long and slender, and touched my face. I felt a surge of energy flow through me, like a jolt of electricity on a summer day. Their touch was warm, comforting, but also unsettling, like the feeling you get when someone is watching you from just beyond your peripheral vision. I tried to speak, to ask them what they wanted or why they were here, but my voice caught in my throat. All that came out was a strange, guttural noise, like a wounded animal. They looked at me with surprise and curiosity, as if I had just spoken their language fluently. They took another step closer, their eyes locked on mine, and I felt myself being drawn into them, like a moth to a flame. It was as if they were sucking all the air out of the room, leaving me gasping for breath. And then, in an instant, it was over. They turned and walked away, disappearing into the crowd like a ghost. I stood there, frozen in place, trying to process what had just happened.
