Tesseract Lamp

Tesseract Lamp

A lamp in the shape of a mind-bending geometric wonder! You'll need to pick up a light socket at your local hardware store, but the rest is easily created with 3D printing technology. The optional shade comes as an additional printable part. I highly recommend breaking down this project into separate components and then assembling them using superglue and baking soda for maximum stability. If you're feeling adventurous, you can try printing everything in one piece with the full_lamp.stl file - but be warned that I haven't tested it myself! To get started, print all the parts with a line height of 0.12-0.20 mm and use vase mode with a line width of 0.6 mm for the lampshade (even if you're using a 0.4 nozzle). You should only need supports for the inner_base.stl and full_lamp.stl files, but again - I haven't put this to the test. Here's what you'll need: * 1 light socket from Amazon * 1 lampshade.stl file * 1 inner_base.stl file * 1 inner_top.stl file * 4 inner_rod.stl files * 1 outer_base.stl file * 1 outer_top.stl file * 4 outer_rod.stl files And, as a fun fact - this lamp is actually a type of hyperrectangle. But let's be real, it's all about the tesseract inspiration!
