Tessellated Dogs

Here are some adorable dogs and a handy storage box, ideal for Chinese New Year gifting! The dogs were created by artist Makoto Nakamura. I discovered one of his paintings online and transformed it into a vector version suitable for laser cutting. The box is a modified version of CaseMaker (or possibly MakerCase). I designed the box to be made from 1/8 inch wood. Red lines on both files are intended to be vector etched, using 100% speed and 15% power on a 75W Epilog Helix laser. Three sets of dogs fit perfectly into two boxes. You can pre-stain each set of dogs differently and divide them among the two boxes for a unique look. Have fun with this project!
