The Tesla Wall Box arrives with a substantial opening where the cable is supposed to be secured, featuring a M32x1.5 thread that lacked a suitable cable gland due to its large diameter. Fortuitously, I had some G3/4 cable glands on hand along with access to a 3D printer. I then proceeded to design an adapter tailored for the transition from M32x1.5 to G3/4 threads, confident in the belief that it would provide a precise fit given the generous gap provided. For sealing purposes, the original rubber gasket can be utilized or alternatively, an O-ring could be employed; either option works well in conjunction with some strategically applied Teflon tape for added assurance.
