Tesla valvular conduit Check Valve
thingiverse
This is a scaled copy from the patent file of a valvular conduit for a Tesla turbine, which essentially functions as a one-way valve with no moving parts, working based on the pressure drop from air turbulence traveling in the wrong direction. The STL file consists of two bodies with tapped holes to machine from billet, so printed items cannot display internal workings unless printed with transparent filament or stopped before completing the cover. The model was recently updated to include tube ends and is the result of a first print attempt. It's hoped that demonstrating resistance in one direction when air flows through the conduit will be possible. Have fun experimenting. Just printed, it's suggested to scale up this design by 25% to 50% for better results as it currently appears fairly small. Despite its size, it should still effectively demonstrate air restriction. The STL object dimensions are 95.2mm x 14.3mm x 7.9mm, providing a clear idea of the overall size.
