tesla turbine style fan blade.
thingiverse
a custom fanblade in the style of a tesla turbine. honestly this was more just me wasting time and learning openscad more than a real contender for the fan blade competition. I feel like openscad needs a better way to sweep and make helices.cause as jank as this linear_extrude() is, the only alternative I can think of is using polyhedron() edit: fixed blade thickness bug. edit:fixed critical hub height dimension error. edit:added housing for outer diameter for when the fan height exceeds fan housing height. I included various renders to show what designs are possible by changing variables in the .scad file.
