Create your own Tesla turbine model for a Make contest, aiming to win a MakerBot. Note that previews may be poor due to SolidWorks exports. Requirements include a printer, tap set, and drill. The disks and spacers should each be five layers thick. A special Box1-pilot hole part is available for smaller inlet/outlet holes. Print the parts, press disks and spacers onto rods, thread bolt holes, and drill central box holes. However, be aware of potential warping and durability issues at high RPMs.
