Tesla Tower

This model depicts Nikola Tesla's Wardenclyffe World Wireless Tower. The model was originally crafted by Verislav Mudrak, I've just cut it in two and added a sleek dome to go along with it. Read the instructions before printing. Instructions I printed this scaled down version of the tower at 30% size using the MakerBot 5th Gen (TeslaTowerOnly, z = 122.29mm). Rafts helped hold it together. Try not to print this model too small because it contains many intricate parts. UPDATE 12/27/14 - The wireframe dome is nearly impossible to print at a small scale. If you manage to pull it off please upload your pictures! I've substituted a smooth surface dome designed for the z = 122.29mm TeslaTowerOnly model (TeslaTowerCupolaPrintable file). It does its job however isn't true to the original design, apologies are in order. Print the tower separately from the dome and C/A glue them together. I've also included split dome files for those who want to give it a try!
