Tesla Rocker Bracket "Patch"

<p>I'm mainly posting this as a concept. There may automotive parts that break cleanly on impact (headlight brackets, bumper brackets, etc). In this case a rocker panel bracket. By supergluing the bracket together, then sandwiching it between two patches/braces, it's restored to a usable condition. Now to figure out how to repair the rest of the damage…</p><p>This repair was easy, because the broken piece was flat, but with some measurements and contour/profile tools, the concept can be still be applied to complex shapes.</p><p>I printed these parts in ASA. The broken piece was GRPP, so the patches were attached with CA glue and clamped to cure.</p>
