Tesla offers two charging kits for the Model S, one USB-C and one Lightning for Apple devices. However, the standard USB-C fittings were found to be slightly too tight for the Google Pixel 3 XL, resulting in excessive pressure on the charging connector. To resolve this issue, the owner simply copied the Tesla part, adding additional clearance where needed.
