I designed this custom replacement door for my Tesla Model 3 to fit my TeslaUSB RaspberryPi 4, providing a 30mm deep cavity that allows it to be installed easily. I also added a honeycomb front face to improve air circulation, making it ideal for users with Raspberry Pis or large USB drives. To accommodate the Raspberry Pi, I used a low-profile USB-C ribbon cable, which can be purchased on Amazon. This modification is perfect for those who want to upgrade their Tesla Model 3's functionality. This custom replacement door features five holes that allow for six-millimeter diameter neodymium magnets with three-millimeter deep magnetic properties. I was able to reuse the original door's magnets by peeling back the rear veneer, reducing waste and making the process more efficient. Update - February 17, 2020: I added extra clearance to accommodate low-profile USB plugs, ensuring that even a full-sized Raspberry Pi can be plugged in without any issues. If you previously downloaded this design, please note that there was not enough room for a full-sized Pi, so this update addresses that issue.
