I credit jonco223 for his original idea. I added ridges to the bottom of the design to make it easier to grasp, a brim to support it at the back edges so it's not just friction-held in place, and finger grooves shaped like a Model 3 logo to facilitate lifting it out. You'll also notice in the finished photos that I flocked the surface for a soft, velvety feel. It requires some technique, and my first attempt wasn't perfect, but future attempts should yield better results. Hatchbox PLA on a modified Printrbot Simple Metal printer; black flocking glue and navy flocking powder by Donjer were used.
