Custom MagSafe charging pad for Tesla Model 3 2017-2020.Wireless charging has come a long way since I purchased my Tesla Model 3. I purchased a Jeda Wireless Pad in 2019, which worked great at the time but has been giving me trouble for about the last year - could be the pad, could be the (different) phones. Either way - Wireless charging speeds have doubled and Apple released it's MagSafe wireless standard since then.I used this to replace the Jeda and have LOVED the strong, no-problems connection and much faster charging for my family's Samsung phones.Inspired by a couple other designs, I ended up building it from scratch to fit my particular MagSafe chargers and personal aesthetic.I initially thought I'd print something like SirPatel's design, to account for the bump-out on modern phone cameras, but ended up just printing the pad slightly thinner than the MagSafe chargers.Inspiration:-- SirPatel's https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6288640-- jjlionberger https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3020898I printed in TPU to give it a slightly softer feel and provide a bit more protection for the phones.MAKE SURE TO PRINT FACE-DOWN!The MagSafe chargers friction fit.
