A highly detailed Tesla Model 3 from 2018 with a fully textured interior is available. The model boasts working headlights and taillights, opening doors, hood, and trunk lid. It has been created as SubDivision/Meshsmooth surface for easy resolution changes in compatible software versions. The low-resolution .obj, .fbx, or .lwo files can be imported into 3D programs that support SubDivision surfaces for further smoothing adjustments. The base version, not smoothed, has 1.62 million polygons, while other unsupported software packages have models ranging from 1.62 to 7.36 million polygons. For 3ds Max 2010 and 2013 versions, TurboSmooth is applied for adjustable object resolution. The 3ds Max 2010 version has standard materials while the 2013 version features VRay materials. Maya 2013 includes a selection set for SubDivision surface parts and an interior display layer. In contrast, Maya 2010, FBX, Cinema 4D 9.6, Lwo 6.0, and .obj formats have separate exterior and interior files for customizable usage. Previews were rendered in 3ds Max using VRay.
