Tesla Logo Lamp (wall mounted, glowing)
thingiverse
This Tesla Logo Lamp was split in multiple parts to fit on a 30x30cm printer bed. The final lamp is about 50cm wide and 51cm high. Of cause it seeks for more space around it in order to show the nice glow on the wall. For assembly follow those steps: - Print all parts: It make sense to print the brackets in the color of the wall you are going to mount it to. - Glue all parts together. - In my case the LED was shining through the PLA and this didn't look nice so I painted the backside in black so that the light can't shine through anymore. Next time I will try using a silver color to make it more reflective. - Install the LED power supply: Place the power supply in the middle, make sure that the IR receiver for the remote control is placed in the top of the middle part so that the IR receiver is visible from the front because otherwise you will have a hard time to switch on or off the lamp. - Install the LED stripe: You need to pull the LED strip through all loops on the backside. Follow the path I showed in the screen shot. The stripe should also go through the brackets on the inside.
