Tesla Car Jack Pad
thingiverse
I designed a custom jack pad for my Tesla after discovering its unique jacking point. This design features three holes, which are crucial for securing the vehicle properly. However, standard round jack pads won't fit due to the unusual shape of the Tesla's jacking point, and using one directly could even damage the battery. To create this solution, I printed out a custom jack pad that addresses this issue. The source file is included so others can modify it if needed. My jack pad has two posts, as that's all that would fit under a standard circular jack pad. I purchased my jack pad at Canadian Tire, which typically sells generic products. Despite the Tesla's jacking point having three holes, I decided to design the posts with equal diameters for simplicity. The middle hole is slightly larger than the outer ones, but printing both the same size simplifies the process.
