I looked for a stereo microphone holder on eBay, but prices over $20 in stamped sheet metal seemed excessive. I decided to print my own instead. After checking Thingiverse for a design, I found none available. So, I designed a quick and dirty plastic replacement myself. My solution features a spot to epoxy in a nut at the bottom for easy attachment to a camera stand, but you could easily swap that out for a microphone stand mount. On top of that, I added my call sign as a personal touch. I built this unit with one key requirement in mind: for stereo sound, microphones need to be separated. Ideally, they should be about 17 cm (170 mm) apart, roughly the distance between human ears. However, my MP Mini Select's bed only allows for a maximum of 120 mm, and my Cora printer tends to avoid edges. So, I decided to make these units this size and bolt them together, which will allow for proper spacing. You might consider this a work in progress as I plan on fine-tuning the microphone balance and adding some vibration isolation as well.
