Terrarium Stairs
thingiverse
I created a simple decoration for my friend's bearded dragons. I modeled it after his styrofoam version and scaled it up for a Creality CR-10S5 (large bed) 3D printer, so it takes up considerable space. It should be relatively easy to scale down. The design features wall thicknesses of 0.5 inch thick, printed with PETG at 20% infill, making it more than solid enough for small pets. The stairs have a ~1in x 1in incline, and the model is approximately 10 inches tall at 100% size. As an amateur 3D printer and model designer, I highly recommend printing this decoration upside down, as it should only require supports for the stairs in that orientation. However, be cautious with rafts; I printed one and it was a challenge to remove from the large surface area. (Again, an amateur printer. Probably didn't need the raft.) If you decide to print and enjoy this model, please share your makes and pictures of how you use it! My friend would love to see photos with pets of all kinds! Thanks for considering my creation!
