I found access to a 10m resolution elevation model for Norway and decided to print my next paragliding spot. The original model covers 10km x 10km with 1,000x1,000 points at 10m resolution. A downsampled version with 100m resolution is available, featuring exact heights. Cliffs are approximately 450 meters high. Print in multiple colors if desired. Flat areas represent a fjord and can be printed using transparent blue PLA for a water-like appearance. If you have sufficient memory, you can attempt to print the STL file appended from the 10m model, which is more complex. Additionally, there's Python code that converts ASCII grid format Digital Elevation Models (DEM/DTM) into scad code for further customization.
