Hexes that connect seamlessly using OpenLock clips (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1833963). The hexes measure 100mm in diameter, forming a perfect circle with each vertex serving as the hub for connection. Each side of the hex measures 50mm in length, providing ample space for creative placement. Designed specifically for use in PSC's Great War game, these versatile hexes can also be employed in Command and Colors. Included in this collection are various elements of scatter terrain, expertly crafted to replicate the harsh conditions of World War I. Shellholes and barbed wire add a touch of realism to your tabletop battles, with the shellholes showcasing an innovative remix of (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3175119). To create the authentic look of barbed wire, simply wrap a length of wire around a pencil to form coils, then secure them to the base using adhesive. The resulting texture is sure to add depth and visual interest to your battlefield. The hexes are intended to be painted with textured paint, allowing for a rugged, battle-worn appearance. Flocking can also be applied if desired, further enhancing the overall aesthetic. Trenches should be completed by adding duckboards, separate pieces that can be inserted into the paint once it has dried. A set of hills is included in this collection, although future updates are planned to refine their design and functionality. As a reference point, the layout featured here required three weeks to print and utilized four 1kg rolls of plastic. The layout itself is based on the introductory scenario from PSC's Great War game.
