The Terrafugia TF X merges the elegance of aerospace and automotive industries, offering an innovative solution that meets land and air transportation needs in one vehicle. Powered by rotating twin 600hp electric motors, foldable wings, and a compact 300hp gas motor at the rear ducted fan, this hybrid aircraft can easily take off, as confirmed by Terrafugia's test team. The interior design resembles modern car layouts, accommodating four adults and cargo in the front. The overall dimensions of the vehicle don't exceed 19' x 8' x 7', fitting comfortably in a garage, as per the guidelines. Distinctive features include a carbon-fiber monocoque body for added strength, LED headlights and rear tail lights, and a rear camera to minimize aerodynamic drag by eliminating side mirrors.
