Terraforming Mars Player Card Overlay
thingiverse
**Description:** This is a player card overlay for the terraforming mars boardgame. Unlike some of the other overlays this one is designed as two-pieces that snap together in a removable fashion, meaning the player card does not have to be permanently affixed with adhesive (potentially damaging it). **Instructions:** Print the BackPanel with the hexagonal grid touching the build platform. Print the FrontPanel with the digits facing up. No supports needed printing in these orientations. (Tested on Voron 2.4, ABS, 18% infill). **Notes / Issues:** The BackPanel has a tendancy to bow/warp slightly due to low material weighting. Doesn't effect assembly. There's a 0.20 mm clearance for the snap connectors so they should last a while depending on your material. They're not strictly neccesary to use, as you're unlikely during play going to wave the player card around. I just wanted to try my hand at them. I've used ABS for mine, it's not a requirement (or even my reccomendation) just what I happen to print in mainly. I'd imagine any filament would be fine so long as you can get reliable tolerences. The sides of the BackPanel tend to have a few loose strings on mine, this is likely a problem for me to suss out in my own print settings. That being said, it's probably exascerbated by the camber of the bevel I used. Just a head's up really.
