This is a terracotta neck-amphora, or storage jar, from the Proto-Attic period in ancient Greece. Dating back to the second quarter of the 7th century B.C., it's attributed to the New York Nettos Painter. The vase measures 108.6 cm in height and 55.9 cm in diameter, and is currently part of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's collection under accession number 11.210.1.
